1. Product Information

GQZ Spherical plain bearings have an inner ring with a sphered convex outside diameter and an outer ring with a correspondingly sphered but concave inside surface. Their design makes them particularly suitable for bearing arrangements where alignment movements between shaft and housing have to be accommodated, or where oscillating or recurrent tilting or slewing movements must be possible at relatively slow sliding speeds, often accompanied with heavy loads.

GE... .FW series of spherical plain bearings are mainly characterized by self-lubrication, wear resistance, self-aligning and low friction, which are suitable for low-speed and heavy-duty mechanical mechanisms.

GE.... .FW series of spherical plain bearings are designed with the following distinctive features:

Material and heat treatment: the outer ring is made of carbon steel, the inner ring is quenched and spherical chrome plated to ensure the durability and performance of the bearings.

Structural features: the product is extruded and molded without oil grooves and oil holes, and there is a PTFE sintered copper mesh lubrication layer in the middle of the inner and outer rings, which helps to reduce the friction and improve the service life of the bearings.

Performance Characteristics: With wider inner rings and larger outer diameters, they are more suitable for mechanisms that require larger pendulum angles and larger loads. These bearings are able to adapt to low-speed, heavy-duty operating environments, and are also self-lubricating, wear-resistant, self-aligning, and low-friction, even when mounted in a misaligned position.

In addition, GE.... ...FW series spherical plain bearings are suitable for maintenance-free operation with specific requirements for operating life, or where the metal sliding contact surfaces of the bearings are not suitable for lubrication, e.g. when loaded on one side. The outer ring has a special sliding layer based on polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), a design that helps to reduce maintenance requirements and increase efficiency.
